Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on ReferSetu (refersetu.com), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What ReferSetu is

ReferSetu is a free platform that connects job seekers with employees and verified recruiters who can refer them for open roles. ReferSetu does not employ anyone, does not guarantee referrals, does not guarantee interviews, and is not a recruitment agency or staffing firm.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts in your country.

4. No payments between users — ever

You may not request, accept, or offer money or any other consideration in exchange for a referral. This is the core rule of ReferSetu. Anyone violating this rule will be permanently banned. Report violations to gwlakshay@gmail.com.

5. Honest representation

• Don't claim to work at a company where you don't actually work.
• Don't post jobs that don't exist.
• Don't impersonate other people.
• Don't use the platform for recruiter spam or marketing unless verified as a recruiter by ReferSetu admins.

6. Content rules

You agree not to post:

• Illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory content.
• Spam, irrelevant promotions, MLM schemes, or chain referral solicitations.
• Confidential information you're not allowed to share (e.g. internal company docs).
• Personal information about people who haven't consented (PII of coworkers, etc).
• Content that violates intellectual property rights.

ReferSetu may remove any content, hide posts, or ban accounts at our discretion. We try to be fair but final calls are ours.

7. Your content

You own the content you post. By posting, you grant ReferSetu a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and process it as needed to run the platform.

8. Account security

You're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't share your login. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Termination

You can delete your account anytime by emailing gwlakshay@gmail.com. We can suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

10. No warranties

ReferSetu is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy of posts, success of referrals, or any specific outcome. Use at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReferSetu and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification.
